Carol Lynley

Pics Carol Lynley Feet and LegsCarol Lynley, born Carole Ann Jones on February 13, 1942 and died on September 3, 2019, was an American actress best well-known for her roles in Blue Denim (1959), and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was the daughter of an Irish father and mother of a New England mother. She started her career as a child model prior to taking up acting. She was awarded the Theatre World Award as "one of the most promising stars for 1956-57" for her performance in The Potting Shed. Lynley began her film career in 1958 with the Disney film The Light in the Forest. It was followed by Holiday for Lovers (1959) and Blue Denim (1959). For her film The Light in the Forest, Lynley was nominated in 1959 to the Golden Globe Award. One year later, she was again nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Female Newcomer for the movie Blue Denim.
