tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24 1979) is an American actress and singer best famous for her role as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 until 1996. Tyana Jones was her TV One character, was her first TV show. Ali was also the character Roxanne in the CBS soap show The Young and the Restless. Ali at the age of six old, started her acting career in the year 1985 as a regular performer for the PBS children's education program Sesame Street. The show also featured the appearance of jazz legend Herbie Hancock who demonstrated his Fairlight CMI synthesizer with a sound sample of Ali's voice. Star Search featured her on two episodes.
