Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actress, singer also a writer, director and actor. Her most famous role is acting as Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and starred as the leading actress in those films. She also appeared in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the daughter of a psychiatrist as well as a Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Danielle is her elder sister and an artist.
